MARSHALL - Services for Marlene A. Weets Johnson, 54, of Marshall will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
She died Thursday, July 19, 2012, of anaplastic thyroid cancer at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 4, 1958, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, to Henry and Alice (Dather) Weets.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Marshall; two daughters, Heather Kruk of Lubbock, Texas and Marissa Johnson of Marshall; two grandchildren; her mother, Alice Weets of Russell; seven siblings, Henry Weets of Willmar, Jerry Weets of Balaton, Gary Weets of Holland, Pam Schwarz of Tyler, Lori VanOverbeke of Marshall, Daniel "John" Weets of Marshall and Darin Weeks of Clark, S.D.
