To the editor:
It has been so hot that the rearview mirror inside our car melted off the glass, but there are several cool items worth mentioning in Marshall, too.
Thank you to all of the cast of "Music Man," directors, and all involved in any way, for a musical that was wonderful from beginning to end. Having the orchestra behind the curtain, distinct, but not distracting, was very effective.
Also, thank you to Bob Meffert and the Marshall Municipal Band and all the musical groups that made for lovely summer evenings in the park. Our community is fortunate to have so many opportunities to experience the arts professionally presented!
