ROCHESTER - Laura Jordan and Shawn Christensen announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Deb Jordan and Richard Jordan of Fort Atkinson, Wis., and Dan and Darla Christensen of Milroy. Jordan is a 2001 graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School and a 2011 graduate of Rasmussen College with a degree in nursing She is a registered nurse with St. Croix Hospice in Rochester. Christensen is a 1999 graduate of Tracy Area High School and a 2004 Southwest Minnesota State University graduate with a degree in business, finance and management. He owns a State Farm Agency in Rochester. An Aug. 4, 2012, wedding is planned at Sibley Park in Mankato.
