ECHO - Private family services for Valerie Ann Schmitt, 53, of Echo will take place at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service - Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at St. Cloud Hospital of cancer.
She was born Aug. 17, 1959, in St. Paul, to Marlene Ferguson.
Survivors include her significant other, Larry Mock of Echo; children, Cassie Schmitt of Arlington, LJ Schmitt of Marshall, and Kristine Mock of Echo; three grandchildren; mother, Marlene Ferguson of St. Paul; and sisters, Cheryl Ferguson and Jeanne Ferguson, both of St. Paul.
