Students at Southwest Minnesota State University haul their gear to their residence halls on moving-in day Thursday. Moving-in day is a tradition at SMSU, as a team of student volunteers, which has come to be known as the Mustang Movers, spend the day helping freshmen get settled in their new home. Moving-in day also kicks off Gold Rush Days orientation, which runs through Sunday. Classes start Monday.
