After going 0-2 in a triangular Wednesday, the Yellow Medicine East girls' tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Thursday. The Sting took down MACCRAY 4-3 in Granite Falls.
The deciding match was at No. 4 singles, where YME's Leah Gluth beat MACCRAY's Kim Trulock 7-6 (7-4), 6-0.
In the No. 1 singles match, Jordan Glad picked up a three-set win over Amber Wieberdink after dropping the first set. She won 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
YME also picked up a couple of doubles wins, both in straight sets. Britanna Raddatz and Jordan Trotter won at No. 1 doubles for the Sting, and YME's Allie Trudel and Keaunna Hammer won at No. 2 doubles.
