CANBY - Services for Gene Edward Peterson, 71, of Canby are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton. Burial is at St. Ann's Cemetery Slayton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton on Thursday.
He died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at the REM facility in Tyler.
He was born May 10, 1941, in Leeds Township, Murray County, to Edward and Susie (Augeson) Peterson.
Survivors include his friends and family at REM Southwest Services, Canby DAC, Advance and SEI; and siblings, Patsy Clark, Joan Rolfes, Cindy Mohan, Robert Peterson and Tex Peterson.
