ST. LEO - Services for Celine Mamer, 80, of Bemidji, formerly of St. Leo, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Leo Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Birk Funeral Home in Canby with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and a rosary to follow. Visitation will continue Wednesday at the church one hour prior to mass. Burial will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery. Online registry at www.birkfuneralhome.com
She died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Sanford Hospital in Bemidji.
She was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, the daughter of William and Cecelia (Weber) Kack.
Survivors include her three children, Janel Mamer of Monroe Center, Ill., Jim Mamer of Sebeka and Jodi Lundberg of Bemidji; five grandchildren; siblings, Bernice Antony of Marshall, Laverne Kack of Canby, Irene of St. Leo, LeRoy Kack of St. Leo, Roger Kack of Lafayette, Colo., Agnes Kloos of Amarillo, Texas, Rita Streff of Canby and Joyce Beckerman of Melrose.
