A wild stretch of less than 40 seconds in the fourth quarter highlighted a 36-13 win for Red Rock Central over Cedar Mountain/Comfrey in a Southern Minnesota Conference game played Saturday in Comfrey.

With his team holding onto a 14-13 lead, Jeff DeCock scored on a 13-yard run with 6 minutes, 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Just 10 seconds later, DeCock picked off a pass from the Cougars' quarterback and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown. He ran in the two-point conversion to put RRC up 30-13.

And DeCock still wasn't done. Moments later, he picked off another pass and returned it to the CM/C one-yard line. RRC's Jordan Schroepfer punched it in for the touchdown with 6:15 left in the game.

DeCock had a team-high eight tackles to go with his two interceptions. He also rushed for 85 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown and had a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter.

Mitchell Schroepfer led the Falcons' rushing attack with 10 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown.

The Falcons (2-2 overall) continue conference play Friday with a home game against Sleepy Eye.
