The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton boys' and girls' cross country teams competed at the five-team Luverne Invite Thursday, with the Panther girls placing fourth and the boys taking fifth.
Luverne won the girls' title with 31 points, holding off Adrian by 10. Luverne eighth-grader Madison Schandelmeier had the top overall time at 15 minutes, 44.3 seconds over the 4,000-meter run.
TMB's Elodie Tholen had a 12th-place finish for the Panthers with a time of 17:12.9. She was joined in the top 20 by teammate Kendra Nelson, who was 18th (18:27.0). The team had score of 106.
The boys' title was won by Worthington, which had its top five runners place in the top eight overall. The Trojans finished with a score of 21. Luverne was second with 40 points.
TMB finished fifth with a score of 124. Matt Lavoy took 10th place overall (18:23.4). The top individual in the boys' 5,000-meter race was Worthington's Amanuel Fissiha. He finished the course in 17:09.1.
