The Lakeview Lakers volleyball team was swept by Springfield in a non-conference match Monday in Springfield 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.
Madi Nelson was among the serving leaders for the Lakers, as she and Alli Boerboom both went 7-for-7. Nelson also had 14 set assists and three kills. Tegan VanMoer led the Laker attack with eight kills and picked up seven digs. Both Nelson and VanMoer each had an ace block.
Lakeview (9-12 overall, 2-7 Camden Conference) will look to snap a five-game losing streak when it returns to conference play with a road game tonight against Renville County West.
