SLAYTON - Services for Marcella Catherine Runkle, 95, are at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda. Burial is at St. Gabriel's Cemetery Fulda. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial be made to your local hospice in her memory.
She died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda.
She was born Sept. 3, 1917, to Louis and Anna (Seivert) Winchell, in Ashton, Iowa.
Survivors include her children, David of New Hope, Gary "Fritz" of Slayton, Joe of Fulda, Ronald of Welcome, MaryKay Timmerman of Balaton, Monica Misjak of Ostego, Maureen Nasman of St. James and Tim of Fulda; 24 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and sister, Dorothy Imhoff of Sheldon, Iowa.
