Bone-in-ham dinner Oct. 28 in Balaton
Bone-in-ham dinner is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in Balaton Community Center. The menu includes ham, escalloped potatoes, cole slaw and dessert. The cost for adults is $8 and for 10 and younger, $3. The dinner is sponsored by the Balaton United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome.
Scandinavian Fest Nov. 3 at St. Lucas in Cottonwood
St. Lucas W.E.L.C.A. Scandinavian Fest is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 4232 170th Ave., Cottonwood, U.S. Highway 59 and Yellow Medicine County Road 2. The menu includes meatballs and gravy, potatoes, coleslaw, lefse and pie. The cost for adults is $8 and $5.50 for children. Takeouts will be available.
