The Vikings (5-10-2 overall, 4-8-2 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) then opened the second half strong with a goal in the 49th minute by Makenzie Trom.

Leopold finished with 12 saves in her first start for the Mustangs, who drop to 7-8-1 overall and 5-8-1 in conference action.
