6 children among those treated for minor injuries suffered in crash

YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY - Six children were among the people treated for injuries in a two-vehicle crash reported at 9 a.m. Sunday about 6 miles south of Wood Lake, the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office said. A minivan driven by Jennifer Hinz, 32, of rural Wood Lake was exiting Hinz's driveway near the intersection of 550th Street and 120th Ave. when it collided with a car driven by Kara Radke, 39, of Monticello, the Sheriff's Office said. Hinz's vehicle had five children inside, and Radke had one child in the vehicle with her, the Sheriff's Office said. All the vehicle occupants were transported to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center for minor injuries and later released, the Sheriff's Office said.
