MINNEOTA - The Lyon County Sheriff's Department assisted the Minneota Police Department in an incident reported at 10:40 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of South Jackson Street, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - Theft of a tractor valued at $14,000 was reported at 8:51 a.m. Thursday on the Lyon County Fairgrounds, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A door was damaged in an incident reported at 11:09 a.m. Thursday on the 1100 block of Skyline Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A Marshall man, 23, turned himself in on a Lyon County warrant in an incident reported at 11:23 a.m. Thursday, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - Theft of an iPod was reported at 11:54 a.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Tiger Drive, Marshall Police said.

BALATON - Failure of a tobacco compliance check was reported at 4:31 p.m. Thursday in Balaton, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

GARVIN - Failure of a tobacco compliance check was reported at 4:14 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of 2nd Street, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

Accidents

MARSHALL - A 2007 Freightliner driven by an Independence, Iowa man, 64, received light damage and a 1996 Pontiac driven by a Morris woman, 31, received light damage in a property damage accident reported at 11:55 a.m. Thursday on the intersection of North 6th Street and West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - No report was in on a property damage accident reported at 3:49 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Tiger Drive, Marshall Police said.
