LAKE BENTON - Services for Ronald Bernard Johnson, 80, of Lake Benton will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Lake Benton. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, with rosary and prayers at 2 p.m., all at the church. Burial will be in St. Genevieve cemetery. Hartquist Funeral Home, Utoft-Johansen Chapel in Lake Benton is providing the arrangements.
He died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne.

He was born Sept. 13, 1932, to Enoch John and Olive Angeline (Griffin) Johnson in Lake Benton. He entered the U.S. Army in 1956. During his time spent in the military, he first went to Fort Chaffey in Arkansas, then to Fort Louis in Washington and spent one year serving in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1958.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Sherry of Marshall; nieces, Pamela Petersen of Annandale and Christine Knutson of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; nephews, Michael of St. Paul and Thomas of Sartell.
