No. 4 Wabasso/RRC takes down No. 5 LC-WM 36-22

Two top-five teams in Class A wrestling took the mat Thursday in Lamberton, and the fourth-ranked Wabasso/Red Rock Central Bobcats proved to be the better team at this point of the season as they took down No. 5 Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Area 36-22.

The Bobcats also competed against New Ulm in their home triangular and easily defeated the Eagles 51-10.

Mitchell Fulton had pins in both of his matches for the Bobcats, earning one at 106 pounds against New Ulm and the other at 113 pounds against LC-WM. Mitchell Schroepfer also picked up two pins for Wabasso/RRC, both at 160 pounds.
