MARSHALL - A report is not yet in on an assist incident reported at 5:51 a.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of South Whitney Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - No contact was made with the subject of a violation of order for protection incident reported at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Jean Avenue, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A verbal warning was given for loud music reported at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Robert Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - Parties in a harassment incident reported at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday on the 2600 block of Minnesota Highway 23 were counseled, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - Parties in a harassment incident reported at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of North 1st Street were counseled, Marshall Police said.

TRACY - An animal complaint incident was reported at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of Morgan Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL - A calico cat was taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of North 5th Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A large yellow and white dog was taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of East Thomas Avenue, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A Marshall man, 36, was arrested on a Lyon County warrant and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 5:14 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of Cedar Lane, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MINNEOTA - A check fraud incident was reported at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

Accidents

MARSHALL - Drivers exchanged information in a property damage accident reported at 4 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of South 4th Street, Marshall Police said.

LYON COUNTY - A Marshall man was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 59, a quarter mile south of Lyon County Road 2, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 1998 Ford pickup driven by Daniel VanOverbeke, 48, of Marshall, had slowed to let a vehicle turn into a driveway, when a Freightliner semi pulling a tanker trailer rear-ended the pickup, the State Patrol said. VanOverbeke received non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said, The driver of the semi, Richard Richards, 67, of Dawson, and two passengers in the pickup had no apparent injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Balaton Ambulance and First Responders and the Lyon County Sheriff's Department also responded at the scene, the State Patrol said.
