Fairmont/Martin County West scored pin falls in the first three bouts and again in three of the final four matches of its opening-round dual with the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove wrestling team at the Section 3AA-South team tournament in Adrian on Tuesday.
The Cardinals scattered two more pins and two decisions among the middle weights while drawing the TMB/WWG season to an end with a 60-10 victory.
The Panthers had three match victories against Fairmont/MCW. Caleb Christian scored the first win for TMB/WWG with a 12-0 major decision to bring the score to 21-4 in favor of the Cardinals.
Anthony Koch picked up the second Panthers win with a 4-2 decision at 145, while Tanner Michelson carded the last victory of the season for TMB/WWG with a 9-2 decision at 170 pounds.
The young Panthers finished the season with a 4-20 overall record.
