MARSHALL - Sally Ione Redday, 35, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court May 15 on charges of aggravated forgery and fifth degree controlled substance crime. A complaint alleges Redday altered a prescription to try and get drugs in Marshall on Oct. 5. A hearing was set for May 28. Bail was set at $20,000 without conditions, or with conditions including appear in court, abide by laws, and abstain from alcohol and drugs.

MARSHALL - Kermit Clarence Kumerow, Jr., 49, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court May 15 on charges of theft. A complaint alleges Kumerow refused to return a vehicle belonging to another person in Lyon County in January. A hearing was set for May 28. Bail was set at $20,000 without conditions, or with conditions including appear in court, abide by laws and have no unnecessary contact with witnesses.

MARSHALL - Daren John Guetter, 31, of Wabasso, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court May 14 to charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime and possession of a hypodermic needle, court records said. Guetter possessed methamphetamines in Lyon County on Dec. 12, court records said. The court ordered a pre-sentencing investigation, and a sentencing hearing was set for June 25.

MARSHALL - Katherine Jolynn Muehler, 25, of Vesta, appeared in Lyon County District Court May 14 on charges of financial transaction card fraud. A complaint alleges Muehler used another person's credit card to receive more than $1,000 in cash advances in Lyon County and Yellow Medicine County in October and November. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for May 28.

MARSHALL - Katherine Jolynn Muehler, 25, of Vesta, appeared in Lyon County District Court May 14 on charges of check forgery. A complaint alleges Muehler forged more than $7,000 in checks in Lyon County between February and April. A hearing was set for May 28. Bail was set at $20,000 without conditions, or with conditions including appear in court, abide by laws and do not leave Minnesota.
