Southwest Minnesota State sophomore baseball player Steven Kremer has been named to the 2013 Daktronics All-Central Region second team, as voted upon by the region's sports information directors.

Kremer is the first Mustang player to receive all-region honors since Cody Curry, Matt Bauer and Adam Schrader in 2010.

The SMSU designated hitter played 35 games and made 29 starts in 2013, finishing second on the team in both batting average (.374) and doubles (13). He was also second in the team in slugging percentage (.566) and fourth in RBIs (22).

In the final Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference statistics (NSIC games only), Kremer ranked 12th in the league in batting average (.406), 14th in on-base percentage (.467) and 16th in slugging percentage (.609).
