A short-handed Marshall's A's squad lit up the scoreboard late against the Granite Falls Kilowatts Friday night in Granite Falls.
Playing with just nine men, the A's struck for 13 runs on 17 hits in a 13-3 win in nine innings.
After opening the scoring with a run in the top of the first, the A's found themselves down 3-1 following a three-run bottom of the second by the Kilowatts.
Marshall tied the game on a pair of runs in the fourth before erupting for nine runs in the seventh. The A's added one more run in the top of the ninth.
Zach Olson and Jason Minnett each drove in a pair of runs for the A's, who extended their winning streak to six games. Ben Korger chipped in with three RBIs.
Jordan Kontz picked up the win in relief for the A's, striking out six in three scoreless innings. Travis McGlauflin started on the bump for Marshall, striking out three and giving up three runs over six innings. Kontz also belted a triple for the A's.
