MARSHALL - A wallet was found and a letter was sent to its owner in an incident reported at 6:19 a.m. Wednesday on Lyon Street, Marshall Police said.

BALATON - A verbal warning was given for loud music in an incident reported at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - A large orange cat was taken to animal impound in an animal complaint reported at 9:46 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South 1st Street and West Greeley Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A baby kitten was taken to animal impound in an animal complaint reported at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Timberlane Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A theft reported at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of East College Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A ditch was dug up by a vehicle in a damage to property incident reported at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 59, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - A theft reported at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A Montevideo man, 21, was cited for driving after suspension in an incident reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on Saratoga Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A white iPod was reported lost in an incident reported at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - Garbage was put in a mailbox in a vandalism incident reported at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of Jewett Street, Marshall Police said.
