Johnson to speak Sept. 15 at First Baptist

On Sept. 15, Phil Johnson will speak in the regularly scheduled morning services of First Baptist Church of Marshall, as well as a special 3 p.m. service. Johnson serves as the executive director of Grace To You, the broadcast ministry of John MacArthur, with whom he has been closely associated since 1981. In addition to editing most of MacArthur's major books, Johnson contributed two chapters to "Fool's Gold: Discerning Truth in an Age of Error" (Crossway, 2005).

He is probably best known for his Internet contributions, which include oversight of the Spurgeon Archive (spurgeon.org/) and contributing to a blog known as Pyromaniacs (teampyro.blogspot.com/). First Baptist is located at 2219 250th St., off Minnesota Highway 23 on the southwest outskirts of Marshall. For more information, call 507-532-6919, or visit firstbaptistmarshall.com.
