Investigators continue to seek the public's assistance in locating Andrew Joseph Dikken, the man being sought as a person of interest in connection with the homicide in Granite Falls early Monday, the Department of Public Safety said Tuesday afternoon.

Dikken, 28 of Granite Falls, is believed to be driving a 1996 brown GMC Sierra club cab pickup with a topper and Minnesota license plate number 032-GGL, the DPS said. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact the Granite Falls Police Department, the Yellow Medicine Sheriff's Office or 911.

The DPS said Dikken should not be approached as he may be armed and dangerous.

Granite Falls Police responded to a 911 call at 3:30 a.m. Monday to the 1100 block of Prentice Street and found a 28-year-old woman dead of apparent gunshot wounds and a critically injured 28-year-old man.

The male victim was transported to Granite Falls Hospital by ambulance and later transported by air to Hennepin County Medical Center.
