MARSHALL - Conrad Monty Crockett, 43, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 19 on charges of third degree driving while impaired and driving without lights displayed. A complaint alleges Crockett drove with an alcohol level of .09 in Marshall on Aug. 23 and had a prior DWI in 2006. A hearing was set for Dec. 17.

MARSHALL - Gibb Cody Marchant, 28, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 19 on charges of first degree controlled substance crime. A complaint alleges Marchant sold methamphetamines in Marshall on April 12. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for Dec. 17.

MARSHALL - Michael Thomas Vanwatermeulen, 27, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 19 on charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime. A complaint alleges Vanwatermeulen sold marijuana in Marshall on Jan. 10. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for Dec. 17.

MARSHALL - Nathan Scott Harris, 23, of Ghent, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 19 on two counts of third degree DWI charges. A complaint alleges Harris drove with an alcohol level of .17 in Marshall on Sept. 10. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for Dec. 3.

MARSHALL - Marquish Lavar Pouewells, 33, of Balaton, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Nov. 19 to charges of predatory offender - failure to register address, court records said. Pouewells failed to register his address with law enforcement when he moved to Balaton in September, court records said. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing was set for Dec. 17.

MARSHALL - Nicholas David Buysse, 34, of Balaton, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 20 on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct. A complaint alleges Buysse sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 13 in Balaton in May. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for Dec. 17.
