The game remained close until the final 7 minutes, when Strand stole the ball and converted it into a layup before the Raiders could cross half court. That play turned the momentum RTR's way the rest of the game.

"That was a big difference," Knights head coach Darin Dahle said. "Fulda played great defense and didn't give us much in the half-court set, so we had to create something off of turnovers."

The Raiders were able to stay in the game by hitting some shots from the outside, but RTR was able to wear down Fulda in the second half, holding the Raiders to just 26 percent shooting from the field for the game.

Fulda head coach Gregg Slaathaug knew that his team's energy may wear thin by the end of the game.

"We just need to get our full team back," Slaathaug said. "We've been struggling with injuries the last couple weeks. So, we knew that may be an issue. It's hard to keep up the energy when you don't have a full team out there."
