Jeremiason earns awards
As part of his ongoing commitment to providing valued service to Farm Bureau Financial Services customers, Farm Bureau agent Cal Jeremiason has recently received the All American Award 2013. This award is for life and investment sales production. This honor recognizes Jeremiason's dedication to serving the community as an insurance provider. This is the fourth time he has achieved this honor. He has also earned the Pacesetter Award for the sixth time. This award is for the sale of property and casualty.
In addition, Jeremiason has recently received the Million Dollar Round Table. This award is for life and investment sales production. This is the second time he has achieved this honor.
North Star Insurance expands Cottonwood headquarters
North Star Mutual Insurance Company, headquartered in Cottonwood, is expanding because of an increase in services to markets throughout the Midwest. The company announced plans to invest $9.5 million and will create 12 new full-time permanent jobs.
Since the 1920s, North Star Mutual has provided property and casualty insurance to protect families and small business owners from financial disaster. The company specializes in farm, home, auto and small business insurance.
To assist the expansion, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development will award North Star Mutual $620,000 from the Minnesota Job Creation Fund if the company meets performance goals.
Irsfeld, Carmany attend MDTSEA conference
The Minnesota Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association had its 47th annual conference April 4 and 5 in St. Cloud. Pat Irsfeld and Leanne Carmany, teachers from the driver education program at Marshall Public Schools/Marshall Community Services, were in attendance.
Irsfeld, MDTSEA president, received an award in recognition for his outstanding contribution to MDTSEA during 2012-2013.
