Right: Eighth-grader Ben Neuman, right, performed a humorous skit called “Mini Me: The Finale” with brothers Brayden Neuman (pictured) and Aaron Neuman. Top Accelerated Reader students were recognized as well; organizers said a total of 3,347 books were read this year by HRS students in grades 4-8. The 12 highest-point earning students received medals and certificates. Kaylee Stukke topped the school, reading 90 books and recording 1,083 points. At the end of the show, a tribute was given to secretary Peggy Seldat, who is retiring after 23 years at HRS. Students performed a special song for Seldat and gave her handcrafted pages for her to put in a notebook, while the staff honored her with a special blue and gold bracelet. See more photos at
