To the editor:
If the Marshall Library board voted to withdraw from the Plum Creek Library System, Lyon County no longer has representation within that system, (right?).
State law requires counties to "partner" with other county systems, (right?).
We can settle this problem without even changing the county lettering system. The MLCL is now the Marshall Library, and we designate the MLCL to be the Minneota Lyon County Library. (Branch libraries can be served out of Minneota instead of Marshall.)
Everybody's happy. Smile. Have a nice day.
P.S. And county funding will be transferred from Marshall to Minneota (right?).
