MARSHALL- The PRCA Rodeo kicked off Friday night at the Lyon County Fairgrounds and there were plenty of high scoring and exciting performances.
Mark Kenyon from Hayti, South Dakota scored in the high 70's with his performance in the bareback, staying on for the full eight seconds.
Ethan Assman from Stephenville, Tex. scores a 72 and Cole Picton from Sedalia, Missouri turned in 71.

Participants from South Dakota, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Arizona and Kanas competed in the events.
Unofficially, Jon Peek from Willison, North Dakota turned in the fastest time in the the tie down roping with a 10.3 while Justin Scofield of Volga, South Dakota wasn't far behind with a 10.5.
Other events in the rodeo included the saddle bronc, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping and bull riding.
The rodeo finished up on Saturday.
