Electing a Governor

In regards to the election, here is where we are (quoted from an an AP article in the Independent. Nov. 8 2010, "Experts skeptical of lawsuit over Minn. gov race". the central question of the unsettled election could soon become whether the GOP can sue its way to victory. Party Chairman Tony Sutton vowed to "turn over every stone" to help Tom Emmer make up the nearly 9,000 votes by which he trails Democrat Mark Dayton. The GOP has already put out the call for activists or poll monitors to report any problems they saw with voter registrations, machine jams or other "irregularities." By all means, let's continue to cry foul and be the laughing stock of the nation. Do a recount as the law mandates because of the close results, and be done with it. If you lost, you lost.
