THIS IS AN ACT OF WAR, and all the niggling about the details is just the sign of our dysfunction. Are we prepared to declare WAR on Syria because of what we view as their bad behavior? Is that the CONSENSUS of the American PEOPLE who must pay the price of all this?

Obama is supporting Al Qaeda is Syria! Our media calls them rebels but it's Al Qaeda. The US runs Al Qaeda! Like it or not this is a fact. Our criminal government run them now just like they did on 9/11. Go to y o u t u b e and search "loose change full" search "General Wesley Clark 7 countries 5 years" The Syrian rebels/Al Qaeda admitted this past week they used the chemical weapons and they got them from Saudi Arabia. You will never hear this on CNN or any other controlled media on your TV. IT'S ALL LIES and the main stream media has been totally discredited and it's dumbing everyone down who watches it. Search anything I have ever posted or commented about, you have to because you don't know everything. You have to come to terms with the fact that the news you watch has lied to you and fooled you. Swallow it and move on.

As a senator Al Gore and a senate committee were told Bin Laden was a very dangerous man and a very serious threat to this country. Instead of utilizing this information Mr. Gore severely chastised the Marine officer (Oliver North) giving the report. 9/11 could have been avoided if Clinton and Gore respected our military instead of treaty them shamefully. Hope you enjoyed your cigar Bill. We all paid for it.
A large portion of the financial downfall in this country was due to the housing market collapse. Lead by greedy lenders and buyers and socialist leaning politicians. The road to our financial problems started long before George Bush and the wars.
Truth be known if Bill Clinton was thinking with the right head when told we had Bin Laden in our sights 911 wouldn't have happened and think how different history would have been.
Let's admit it, people... George W. Bush, and every person in Congress that supported him (which is just about everyone) are responsible for the global economic crisis that followed the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. Acting on the previously held belief that wars are good for the economy, that administration twisted the truth to justify it. Are we going to make the same mistake again?

rona45 and MNrocks2, thank you for the common sense !! It's time we stopped trying to police the world and cleaned up our own country. Starting in Washington.
The problem with this is people are finally realizing what a massive snafu took place in the US after 9/11.Now they want to place us in the same spot we were in before WWI and WWII. Misguided leadership from the past has placed us in some serious doodoo. This problem is about 12 years old. Time to see and understand where it really occurred. Take the blinders off!

Obama is doubling down saying he will act alone if necessary. He's in a pickle now, and in a lose, lose situation. He cannot let it be seen that he can be defied. If he is thwarted in this, there will be a reaction. Either the man's judgment is superior to all others or his ego is more vaunting than anyone can rationally calculate.

After WW2 there were several countries basically ruined and they rebuilt with their own people and a little help. For some reason these other countries seem to thrive on bloodshed and killing and will never be content living in peace. Their mentality seems to be to ruin a country then move on into another country and ruin it. it is time to admit we can't police the world and take care of ourselves. Our own country has taken a huge hit as far as trust. Lies, distortion, slander, and threats seem to be the new way of government. Honesty and trust has been thrown out the window.

The government intel? Not sure that I trust that anymore. In 6 months are they going to report the reports were wrong? How long did it take them to fabricate the facts on Bengazi

This is a real dilemma today because where does it end? Syria, Egypt its a mess and there may be no answer, no peace to be brokered.

If our word as a country means anything, then we should act.
While Obama drew a red line, the real crime is the effect it has on the people and children of Syria. You can't be human and not have concern for the people still in Syria and the refugees - well over a million - who have exited the country.
