MARSHALL — Lyon County commissioners approved a 2025 funding appropriation for a regional nonprofit this week. However, the Southwest Initiative Foundation would not be receiving the full $5,500 it had asked for. After doing some further checking on the county’s 2025 budget, Lyon County Administrator Loren Stomberg said there actually had been $5,000 appropriated in the budget for SWIF.
