First Lutheran fall festival

First Lutheran is having their first-ever fall festival from 6:45-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 100 Church Street in the parking lot. It will be a night filled with truck-or-treat, activities, games, campfires, smores, popcorn, apple cider, crafts, and more. For questions, call the church office at 507-532-2429.

Election Day dinner Nov. 5

Grace First Parish of Russell is having its 128th annual Election Day Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5. The menu includes turkey with dressing, potatoes and gravy, corn, coleslaw, cranberry relish, homemade rolls, dessert and beverage. Cost for adults is $15, youth ages 5-12 $8 and free for ages 4 and under. Carryout is available.
