JMHS names Johnson as interim chief executive officer
The Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) Board of Directors announced the appointment of Kathy Johnson as the interim chief executive officer. Johnson, who previously served as the CEO and administrator at JMHS from 2007 to 2015, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the organization.
During her previous tenure, Johnson oversaw significant projects including the physical therapy and front entrance building project and played a key role in planning the care center building, completed in 2018.
“As the interim CEO, my primary focus will be to ensure that our patients, residents, and tenants continue to receive the highest quality care possible,” said Johnson. “I am excited to work with the dedicated staff at JMHS as we move the organization forward in preparation for the new CEO.”
Johnson assumed her interim position on July 9, and is expected to serve at JMHS for at least four months. The board has initiated the process of searching for a long-term chief executive officer and a licensed nursing home and assisted living administrator.
