Dense fog causes Redwood County crash
REDWOOD FALLS — Dense fog contributed to a one-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Redwood County, the Minnesota State Patrol said. The State Patrol said a 32-year-old woman from Redwood Falls drove into a field, but further details on the woman’s identity and whether there were any injuries in the crash has not been released.
The crash was reported at 5:55 a.m., at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 19 and Redwood County Road 6, the State Patrol said. A 2009 Ford Focus driven by the Redwood Falls woman was northbound on County Road 6 at Highway 19. Due to the fog, the woman could not see the intersection, and drove through the intersection into a field, the State Patrol said.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and CentraCare Ambulance responded at the crash scene.
