LAMBERTON — Two Lamberton men were pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash near Lamberton Saturday, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash is under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.

On Saturday, Redwood County deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash near Redwood County Highway 15 and Jade Avenue.

The driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was ejected from the vehicle and was later pronounced dead on scene, the Sheriff’s Office said. A male passenger was trapped inside the vehicle, and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office identified the driver of the vehicle as 49-year-old Curtis Wille, and the passenger as 75-year-old Duane Waldriff. Both men were from Lamberton.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Lamberton Fire and Ambulance, CentraCare Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care all assisted at the crash scene.
