Crime and accidents for Sept. 7

MARSHALL — Marshall Police assisted the Minnesota State Patrol in a traffic stop and stolen vehicle recovery at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Minnesota Highway 23 and South Fourth Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A Marshall man, 29, was cited for not having a valid Minnesota driver’s license or insurance, in a traffic incident at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Fifth Street and West Redwood Street, Marshall Police said.

COTTONWOOD — A Cottonwood boy, 16, was cited for failure to yield in a two-vehicle crash reported at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of North Barstad Road, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said. No injuries were reported in the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A Lamberton man, 34, was cited for having expired vehicle registration at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday on Marvin Schwan Memorial Drive, Marshall Police said.

TRACY — A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday on the 1000 block of Craig Avenue, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

LYND — A Ruthton man, 30, was cited for driving after suspension in a traffic incident at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 200th Street and Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A Marshall man, 34, was cited for driving after cancellation in a traffic incident at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Main Street and North First Street, Marshall Police said.

RUSSELL — A domestic incident reported at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday on the 1600 block of Minnesota Highway 91 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MINNEOTA — An animal complaint was reported at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of East Third Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — A Lake Wilson man, 29, was arrested for a probation violation at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of North U.S. Highway 59, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Shoplifting reported at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday on the 900 block of East Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A juvenile female was arrested and taken to court in a warrant pickup incident at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday in Ghent is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
