CANBY — A Canby teen was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and Minnesota Highway 68, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Kendon Michael Knutson, 16, was taken to Sanford Canby Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The crash was reported at 2:02 p.m. A 2020 Chevy Colorado driven by Knutson was southbound on Highway 75, and a 2004 Ford Sport Track driven by Colin Francis Konicek, 23, of West Dundee, Illinois, was westbound on Highway 68. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, the State Patrol said.

Konicek was uninjured in the crash.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, and Canby Fire and Ambulance responded at the crash scene.
