Justine Fedan Schmitt Wenger

MINNEOTA–Justine Fedan Schmitt Wenger, age 94, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Minneota MN.

She was the daughter of John Fedan and Mary Skweir Fedan. Justine graduated in 1948 from Arnold High School in Pennsylvania. She graduated with a BFA from Beaver College (Arcadia University), Glenside, PA in 1952. To further her studies in art and design, she attended University of Manitoba, University of Southern California, Carnegie Institute of Technology, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Justine is survived by her children: Dr. Rebecca Day (Dr. Stewart Day), Atty. Mary Schmitt, Gretchen Schmitt R.D., Dr. John Schmitt (Dr. Chris Frey), Max Schmitt, Zenon E. Schmitt (Beth Nichols); Grandchildren: Larissa Johnson, Nadia Schmitt (William Kalvik), Zenon F. Schmitt, Brittany Schaar (Justin Schaar), Justin Schmitt. She has 3 great-grandchildren: Luna, Oliver, and Leo Kalvik.

Burial service will be June 2025 at Union Cemetery, Arnold, PA.
