Kathleen Baune

WABASSO — Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen “Kathy” Baune, 91 of Wabasso will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso with a livestream available on the church’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@LOWAFC. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery in Wabasso. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died peacefully Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at River Valley Health and Rehab in Redwood Falls, surrounded by family.

She was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Westline Township, Redwood County, to Robert and Caroline (Bolster) Monahan.

Survivors include her children, Rick of Becker, Ron of Wabasso, Colleen Ruhr of Morgan, Randy of Lamberton, Dan of Wabasso, Nancy Prahl of Redwood Falls, and Scott of Redwood Falls; 24 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.
