Dennis Kasten

REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Dennis Kasten, 88, of Redwood Falls will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church Monday. Burial will be in the Belview Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at his daughter’s home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1936, on the farm near Belview in Echo Township, to Hilbert and Luella (Fischer) Kasten. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for one year, 11 months and 11 days from 1958 to 1959.

Survivors include his children, Jolene Kissner, Gene Hansen, Karen Baune, and Gary; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Tietz of Kasson and Irene Abrahamson of Prior Lake.
