WABASSO — Mass of Christian Burial for Colleen Diane Remiger, 69, of Wabasso will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church Monday. Burial will be in the St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, surrounded by family at Prairie Home Hospice – Lockwood House in Marshall after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

She was born Aug. 26, 1955, to Herbert C. and Marian M. (Penkert) Bernardy in Redwood Falls.

Survivors include her husband, John; children, Josh of Elk River, Alison Carlson of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Abby Dallmann of Marshall; seven grandchildren; mother, Marian Bernardy of Wabasso; siblings, Joyce Goodyear, Sue Cooreman, Bill Bernardy, Paul Bernardy and Ralph Bernardy.
