Taking cheap shots at Gov. Walz
To the editor:
I fear that the incivility and meanness that former President Trump, now President elect, brought to bear on this nation’s political climate is contagious. Cal Ludeman’s public forum letter vilifying our Minnesota Governor Walz by using belittlement and taking cheap shots at him is an example of that contagion.
Tim Walz won the elections to serve six terms as a United States representative and was voted into office twice as governor of Minnesota by his fellow Minnesotans. Those are solid achievements that deserve respect. A difference of opinion doesn’t have to lead to vitriolic name-calling.
