Thanks to Marshall for showing respect
To the editor:
Last week I attended the funeral of my great nephew in the town of Marshall. As we left the church and had our funeral procession through town to the cemetery, our hearts were lifted in gratitude at all the cars who pulled off and stopped on the roadside while we passed by. Those people didn’t know how our hearts ached or who the funeral procession was for. But the respect that they showed in their actions lifted our hearts up. A silent thank you and blessing were sent to each car as we passed by. Thank you for your respect, thoughts and prayers as we grieved our loss.
