Minnesota Vikings select Dallas Turner at No. 17 overall, moving up six spots in NFL Draft’s first round
The Minnesota Vikings were busy on the trade phones Thursday night during Day 1 of the NFL Draft. In the second trade of the night, Minnesota moved up from No. 23 to No. 17 in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars. At No. 17, Minnesota selects edge rusher Dallas Turner from the University of Alabama.
Earlier, the Vikings moved up one spot from No. 11 in order to select Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy with the No. 10 pick.
