ST. PAUL — Quintin Lewis, Isaiah Wolske, Carson Klein and Colby Kesteloot of the Fulda/Murray County Central boys wrestling team will continue their seasons at the State Class A individual tournaments at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center on Friday.

Klein and Lewis each earned section titles in the 139 and 160 weight classes at the Section 3A individual championships last weekend in St. James.

Wolske and Kesteloot finished as runners-up in the 172 and 285, also punching a ticket to the state meet.

Lewis brings state experience for F/MCC, as he competed in last year’s tournament in the 160, which he will be competing in again this time around.

In last year’s run, Lewis made it on to the second round before falling in a 10-5 decision. He enters Friday with a 31-10 record on the season with the three seed, and has recorded 15 pins, two technical falls and three major decisions.

Currently ranking fifth in Class A’s 160, Giese enters with 13 pins, nine technical falls and three major decisions.

Third-seeded Klein (39-11) begins his tournament run with a dual against No. 7 Jaxon Bartkowicz (42-3) from Holdingford in the 189-class.

Bartkowicz currently ranks second in Class A’s 189 with 23 pins, seven technical falls and three major decisions. Klein also enters with 23 pins, two technical falls and five major decisions.

Wrapping up competition for F/MCC, No. 3 Kesteloot (32-12) looks to take down top-seeded Jack Carlson (43-4) of Goodhue in the 285.
