Marshall guards Alex Franson and Cooper Mensink each earned selections to the Big South Conference, announced on Wednesday.
The selections mark the second consecutive year that the two have earned a nod on the list. Franson was also selected to the All-Conference team as a junior while Mensink earned an honorable mention.
The duo led the Marshall Tigers to a 20-9 record in the 2024-25 season — an 11-win improvement from the year prior — and a finish as the Section 2AAA runners-up.
The Tigers placed second in the Big South’s White Division, going 6-2 with their lone divisional losses coming to first-place Waseca, which finished 8-0. Jackson County Central won the Blue Division while Luverne won the red.
